The Associates Council consists of GBAHB volunteer associate members who are elected by their peers to serve on this committee. The group plans the annual Builder Appreciation Night which takes place in April at the Pelham Civic Center Complex. Over 700 people have attended this event in year's past with associates buying out the booths every year. This is GBAHB's biggest trade show of the year. With great food and entertainment, vendors will capture a large audience of interested builders in the Birmingham area. You are encouraged to consider purchasing a booth and participating in this awesome event. Contact Julie Harbin at 912-7000 for more information. Another fun thing the Associates Council does for the GBAHB membership is plan Associate Appreciation Night. This night is filled with great music and entertainment in honor of all associate members and their contributions made to the building industry and GBAHB throughout the year. Basically, this is just a night of fun. And, its free! So check your BluePrint and this site to keep up-to-date on our latest events. These events are too fun to be missed.

One of the best ways a GBAHB member can get to know other members within their industry is to participate in the many meetings, councils or committees and events the GBAHB offers throughout the year. Unless you get involved, you will never know your true potential as a GBAHB member. Not only do you get the opportunity to meet some great folks within your industry, you will be able to keep abreast of new technology, new products, and ways to improve your business. You are also encouraged to do business with other members of the GBAHB. Participation is the key to your GBAHB success.
